My favorite urban hike. I wandered and took photos as I meandered the various trails scattered around the woods. Since my last visit I see someone put in a temporary measure to circumnavigate the dicey stream walk you had to do, but it's still not what I'd call a good, or long-term solution. Hopefully we can get some maintenance on this section so hikers stop eroding the creek bed.
The only downside to Boeing Creek is the amount of social trails. It would be nice if there were clearer, more defined trails in areas of the park so that people didn't feel the need to make others. The fact that the trail vanishes at the creek and you need to use a workaround also doesn't help. All that said, I love this place for its solitude right in an urban neighborhood, and the terrain and lush vegetation is nice to wander through.
Other than the creek area, the trails seemed in good condition, even when a bit muddy. Hopefully the fall and winter won't further erode the sandy bank on the creek.
