Puget Sound and Islands

Snagged some last minute, midweek reservations for the Cama Beach cabins when our daycare closed. It was *super* quiet on the beach and trails around the cabin (though we didn’t get too far in any direction with our toddler). Things looked like they were picking up on Saturday but still pretty mellow (compared to summer).

Highlights were watching the birds, and just enjoying a few dry weather days outside.

Lots of parking, bathrooms. The wooden boat center and cafe seemed to be open on Fri-Sun but we didn’t venture inside.

The first primary beach access (stairs) was closed but the staff were working on a repair. If it’s still closed off just walk down the middle of the main cabin area and there’s an easy way over the sea wall.
