Hiked the loop counter-clockwise, camping at Boiling Lake and Cooney.  Larches are out in full force above 7k feet.  Some smoke in the area from the Twenty-five Mile Fire on Chelan, which was clearly visible from the top of Angel's Staircase, so folks may want to check the AQI forecast before you go.

Plenty of water sources on the north side of Sawtooth Ridge, less so on the south side (Boiling Lake in particular is pretty low - the outflow at the is still a viable water source, though just barely so).

Very quiet on Friday, saw more hikers and mountain bikers over the weekend but no horses or motorcycles.  Maybe 10-12 other campers at Cooney on Saturday night, but there were plenty of established campsites to go around.
