Located on the White River near Mount Rainier, the Mud Mountain Dam is both a flood control dam operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a recreation facility.

This gentle 2-mile trail will take you along the White River. Find great views of the White River Canyon, as well as the ancient volcanic mudflows and deposits of sediment that formed the rim of the reservoir.
