If you want both a walk in the sunshine and a walk through the trees, Mesatchee Creek is the place to go! With both forested and open sections, this short trail has a lot to offer. Keep your eyes out for some fascinating and massive ant hills hidden in the trees.

Keep your feet dry on the turnpikes and bridge made by WTA. This hike is a delight to the senses, with plenty to see and the babbling creek to listen to as you make your way to where the river comes over the trail at about 1.2 miles from the trailhead.
